Are you Interested in a Cybersecurity Career?

Are you or someone you know interested in a cybersecurity career? If so, the Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Program (CSAP) might be just what they are looking for! 

The DHS Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) launched the inaugural CSAP Cohort program on February 21, 2023. CSAP is a virtual and paid part-time opportunity for college students to work with cybersecurity and IT leaders. This program helps DHS achieve its goal of attracting diverse and top-tier IT and cybersecurity talent. Participants may be considered for full-time employment at DHS after graduation. Students will have options to work at one of several DHS agencies.

 Eligibility 

  • Undergraduate sophomores, juniors, and seniors
  • Graduate students
  • U.S. Citizenship and residency are required.

​In addition to the cybersecurity apprenticeship, OCIO’s NextGen Professional Development Program. The OCIO’s internship and fellowship programs offer several opportunities for U.S. Citizens, current students (age 16 or older), college students and graduates, and current federal employees to develop and hone cybersecurity skills.
